Highway offers a target salary of $45,000 in your first year and $54,000 in your second. 

It is important that Highwayers are incentivized and compensated for progressing from Academy trainee to a valued contributor to a client team. Thus Highwayers receive the following raises as they achieve the following milestones:

Highway provides health insurance through a HRA (or Health Reimbursement Arrangement) structure with its partner Take Command Health. Highway provides $275 per month towards health spending, which more than fully covers monthly health insurance premiums for most Highway employees. Selection of plans, maintenance, and support are all provided through Take Command and their portal.

Highway offers a 401K Retirement Savings Program through its partner Slavic401K. Slavic offers a full range of retirement options and a broad set of investment funds including Fidelity and Vanguard. 

As Highway invests significantly in Highwayer's skill development through the academy, Highway requires that new employees are committed to working with Highway for two years. Employees who leave sooner will be required to reimburse Highway for the training expense. 

Highway requests new employees to sign various agreements as part of employment, including an Offer Letter, a Training Reimbursement Agreement, and a Confidentiality Agreement. To review the agreements please click here.

Each employee gets 3 weeks / 15 business days of Paid Time Off per year which can be used for vacation or sick leave. This is in addition to the days off from company holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas.

The training in the Academy will pause from 12/24/22 through 1/1/22. Salary payments for those in training will pause during that period.
